Shocking Article on the Future of Farming

Shocking.  That is the best word I could come up with when I read the article.  Absolutely shocking.  What article you ask?  This article.  “College Majors That Are Useless”. Why was I shocked?  Because the article claims the most useless degree of all – ahead of even fashion design and theater – is Agriculture.  Agriculture is the most useless degree you can get! Yikes!  And not only is agriculture useless but so is Animal Science and Horticulture!  Useless.  Completely, totally useless. I’m shocked!

2012 List of Banished Words

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone has recovered by now from their failed New Year’s resolutions.

Much like Lake Superior State University does each year with its list of words that need to be banished, we here at Fresh Earth Farms go through a similar exercise to exorcize words that are overused on the farm and in need of retirement.
